Part-Time Youth Intern (Grades 7–12)
Timber Crest Baptist Church in Waco– Celebrating 70 Years of Service
Timber Crest Baptist Church is seeking a Part-Time Youth Intern to serve our students in 7th–12th
grade while we continue our search for a permanent Youth Minister.
Our mission is “To Know Christ and Make Christ Known,” and we are looking for someone with
a heart for discipleship, student ministry, and helping young people grow in their relationship with Jesus
Christ.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting with and leading youth Bible studies and discipleship opportunities
• Building relationships with students and their families
• Encouraging spiritual growth and Christ-centered living
• Working alongside church leadership and volunteers
Qualifications:
• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• A passion for serving and discipling teenagers
• Strong Biblical character and leadership potential
• Part-Time Position (Wednesday evening, Bible study and also Sunday morning
Bible study)
Compensation: $500 per month evaluated annually with long term commitment
This position is intended to be a temporary role until the Youth Minister position is filled. It is an excellent
opportunity for someone who desires hands-on ministry experience while making a meaningful impact in the
lives of students.
