Ecclesia Community Church in Waco, TX is seeking a part-time Lead Pastor to shepherd
and teach the congregation located in North Waco. Ecclesia is a small Texas Baptist church (20-
30 members) seeking to grow in size while better serving the families and children of the local
community. The ideal candidate will have completed or be in the process of completing some
form of theological training, have a heart for sharing the Gospel in low-income areas, and be
willing to devote at least 20 weekly hours to the task of ministry.
Responsibilities include:
– Faithfully preaching and teaching the Word of God on Sunday mornings and Wednesday
evenings
– Providing pastoral care and prayer for congregation members
– Planning and guiding outreach events for the local area
– Overseeing whatever staff the church may bring on
– Being a contributing member of the Elder Council
– Committing to a life of prayer for the congregation and surrounding area
